Hipototta No. 6 plc

The second transaction under the Hipototta name this year from originator Banco Santander Totta SA
has been launched into totally different market conditions that greeted the first issue, and consequent-
ely all tranches were not publicly offered, with the majority being retained for widespread market
issuance at a later date.

The actual transaction follows the tried and trusted Hipootta model, representing a securitisation of
prime Portuguese residential mortgage loans originated by, and serviced by Banco Santander Totta SA.
